art

Take a look at this article on the new way of looking at and appreciating art, specifically in the vast halls of the Louvre. Are we truly taking in the priceless representations, or do we say to ourselves "the Louvre is done" as we prance to the next historical monument. Personally, I don't think anyone can truly finish appreciating the countless pieces in the Louvre, and I hope to not be one of these tourists the journalist describes!!

Found on BYU in Paris & here

It's tough when usually you only have X number of hours to see a museum. How cool is it that you can go to the Louvre once a week when you're there! I tried to do that with the MET when I was in nyc. It really helps when you can meander and take time to view things.

Laura, when do arrive at CDG on the 11th? I get in around 11am local time (my flight got changed so I'm on a straight shot from LA to paris) - let me know and we can figure out transportation!
